Radiation Therapists work closely with your entire team to administer and deliver your proton treatment. They will ensure you are positioned properly during treatment sessions and be close at hand while you receive therapy.

Medical Dosimetrists are responsible for the development of your customized treatment plan, which is overseen by the medical physicist and your treating physician. The dosimetrist collaborates with your radiation oncologist to prepare a treatment plan specific to your diagnosis. They calculate angles and doses of proton energy required to treat your tumor, while ensuring your healthy tissue is exposed to as little radiation as possible.

Registered Nurses work closely with you, the radiation oncologist and other care team members. Our nurses provide day-to-day care, patient education, and help coordinate any additional medical services you might need during treatment. This includes arranging for blood tests, scans, other medical appointments, and medication requests.

Medical Physicists specialize in applying physics to the medical care, mapping out the share and intensity of the proton beam to ensure it delivers the exact radiation dose prescribed for you.

Radiation Oncologists collaborate with medical physicists and dosimetrists to develop personalized treatment plans that are properly tailored for you and to ensure each treatment is delivered with the highest possible precision. They will meet with you once a week during treatment to review your progress and discuss any questions of concerns you may have.
